Ingredients:
- 250 grams paneer, cut into cubes
- 1 cup yogurt ( curd)
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon oil
- Capsicum, onions, and tomatoes, cut into cubes (for skewering)
- Chaat masala (for garnish)
- Fresh coriander leaves, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon slices (for serving)
Method:
- Add yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt in a bowl. Mix well to make a marinade.
- Add paneer cubes and gently coat them with the mixture. Leave it for marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill or oven to medium-high heat.
- Soak wooden skewers in water for about 15 minutes to prevent them from burning.
- Thread the marinated paneer cubes, capsicum, onions, and tomatoes onto the skewers, alternating between the ingredients.
- Brush the skewers with oil to prevent sticking and place them on the grill or in the oven.
- Cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the paneer and vegetables are lightly charred and cooked through.
- Remove the skewers from the heat and sprinkle them with chaat masala and chopped coriander leaves.
- Serve the paneer tikka hot with lemon slices on the side.
