easy garlic naan recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 grated garlic
  • Fresh chopped coriander for garnish
  • Cooking oil or ghee for cooking

Method:

  • Add the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and mix well in a bowl.
  • After that add the plain yogurt and melted butter and mix until the dough starts to come together.
  • Knead the dough for 5 minutes, or until it becomes smooth and elastic. If the dough is too wet, you can add a little bit more flour.
  • Cover the dough leave for at least 30 minutes. This helps to makes the softer naan.
  • Divide the dough into small ball-sized after resting.
  • Roll all portion into a thin and oval shape.
  • Add greated garlic with melted butter in a small bowl. Brush this mixture onto one side of the rolled naan.
